
bio+energía, with its engineering team and in constant collaboration with clients, studies the projects in detail to achieve an optimum balance between respect for the environment and the function for which it has been created.
We work with the synergy created by top level architects, interior designers and artists, along with experts in technology and renewable energy techniques and energy efficiency optimized in the result and knowledge of each means and adapted to each project.
The design of the facilities is completed by close interaction with the architecture, with one clear objective: to achieve buildings of reference in sustainability, with extremely high energy efficiency, to the point of obtaining, free of charge, most of the energy required for the building.
The idea is to achieve buildings that offer optimum comfort at minimum cost. In fact, the objective established is to achieve the maximum energy qualification: "A".
To do this, work must be undertaken at the project level to interact with the architectural design, as is described next:

The building cover:
The roof plays a double function: supplying natural light to the building and making use of the external heat conditions.
Natural Illumination
The richness of natural light and comfort for the architecture, together with the need rationalize energy costs of buildings, has once again placed it in a preferential place when the architectural conception of the project arises. The roof could include skylights, which offer great visual comfort for users and lead to great savings in electric consumption.
Heat Regulation
The roof could be conceived as a chamber for the thermal pretreatment of fresh air for the building. That is to say, making use of solar radiation to heat the air taken from outside and introduced into the building.
2. EFFICIENT GENERATION SYSTEMS
A great deal of building energy consumption of is due to the production of heat and air conditioning.
To optimize this consumption different limes are worked on:
- Systems have to be designed, which make use of the energy existent in the natural exterior conditions.
- Renewable fuels have to be used.
- Enthalpy recuperation has to be designed (energy reuse for air renewal)
The use of solar, biomass, geo-thermal… correspond with these lines. Nevertheless, when it comes to suggesting a generation system, the infrastructures and supplies existent in the surroundings have to be considered.
